Heather is a litigation partner with experience successfully representing clients before administrative agencies, in state and federal court, and on appeal. She provides representation for and on behalf of insurance companies, defending insureds in a variety of types of litigation including personal injury, professional liability, labor and employment, and construction disputes, and providing representation to insurance companies in coverage disputes. Heather also concentrates her practice on employment litigation, with an emphasis on employment discrimination claims. She advises employers on the application of employment laws and handling employee disputes to avoid liability exposure.  Heather also defends trucking and transportation companies against claims and lawsuits.

Heather serves on the Erickson | Sederstrom Board of Directors. Heather also serves as a Liaison to and President-Elect of The Harmonie Group. The Harmonie Group is a network of independent law firms specializing in defense of businesses and self-insureds, and representation in all areas of the insurance industry. In addition, she is a Contributing Editor of the Nebraska Employment Law Letter.

Additional Information

Prior to joining Erickson | Sederstrom, Heather served a 2-year term as a Law Clerk to Judge William Cassel of the Nebraska Court of Appeals.

Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and reading.
